Happy New Year 2008 and Welcome to the Site. I am a Filmmaker living and working in NYC. This page is intended to track some of my observations, experiments, and project releases. In the past I’ve worked with sites which took some serious attention to update, and therefore more often than not, were left unattended for periods of time. The idea behind this one is to exchange and publish quickly as well as to allow for feedback. I imagine that most of the ideas here will involve photography and film since most of my time involves these disciplines.
For at least a year I have shot with a Borrowed Cannon Power Shot. I’ve just published a gallery with a series of Images of the Hell Gate Bridge in Astoria, Queens. Although I began with the idea of using this little point and shoot camera for shooting locations for film, I soon found the quality of the pictures had a digital-pinhole-camera look that inspired me to experiment further. Other Motivations… At the time I couldn’t afford to keep shooting film, and this was the only still camera I had access to.
